This reminds me of the song 'Man's Road' from 'The Last Unicorn' where the lyrics go:
"Moonrising, disguising, lonely streets in gay display; it waits in silence for the world to explode . . . here I am, on Man's Road."
This is lovely, simply stunning and haunting!
Is this the concept of the death of innocence by corruption and darkness? Is this the dying moment of light in the company of darkness?
This image raises several interesting questions for me, and the colours are gorgeous. The red of the blood is eyepopping, the ravens look like living shadows, and the unicorn reminds me of a spirit of the moon, left to wander the earth until expiring, lost and pained, beneath a starless sky in the company of hungry death.
